Panasonic needed to shift perception of their 7-in-1 Convertible Smart AC from a conventional appliance to a genuine AI-powered smart home companion. We partnered with 11 of India's top tech YouTubers and gave them the product to use authentically for two months — no scripts, no staged demos. Each creator documented their real experience across long-form reviews and YouTube Shorts, letting product performance speak for itself in the voices audiences already trusted.
The Challenge
Consumer electronics buyers are skeptical of brand-paid reviews, especially for a premium AC positioned around AI and smart home integration. The challenge was to generate authentic third-party validation for the product's AI and convertible features without the content feeling sponsored, in a category where purchase decisions take weeks and require genuine trust.
Our Strategy
We selected 11 tech-focused YouTubers with highly engaged audiences in the smart home and gadget space and deployed a 2-month authentic usage model — creators received the AC ahead of the campaign and integrated it into their real living environments before filming. Content spanned YouTube long-form deep-dives and YouTube Shorts for reach amplification, with each creator free to highlight the features that genuinely impressed them. This format produced credible, detailed reviews that drove sustained watch time and purchase intent.
